There were lots of really nice cars at BW Raceway this past weekend. The weather held up wonderfully, as there was only a little bit of rain Saturday morning, followed by sunny skies all day, and a little bit of rain Sunday afternoon at about 3pm after a day out in the sun.. The track was in excellent condition, and many project cars showed up. There was only 1 other Z32 besides my own, "The Silver Bullet" driven by another SP (Scott Performance) customer that makes 480RWHP w/o the NOS. There were a bunch of 240Z's, Vipers, tricked Mustangs and Porshes, and one track 350Z. The one Ferrari that showed up went off the track early Sunday morning and never returned. My Z held up really well, and felt really powerful running through the turns and down the straights. Some early-90's NASCARs showed up to run in the fastest class, and one of them went off into the mud before hitting the front straightaway. I also learned to respect that sharp turn more after I laid two tires into the mud on Sunday also... :-\ It was a really fun event ,and a great track. You other NorCal and SoCal Z'ers will have to join up next time. The Z-crew had its own garage and camper... and a Porsche GTII that is BAD ASS! Rick Bailey had his very fast Z06 also, and we may get some video from him soon. Stay tuned for pictures... visit [ www.opentracking.com ] for some older video, or this link [ http://www.opentracking.com/240ZvsZ06.mpg ] to see Greg Scott's 240Z in front of Rick Bailey's Z06 at this same event last year....
